BALTIMORE INSTIGATOR PUNX!
This section is a memorial to punk times past! In the 90's unbeknownst to most of the world Baltimore had a pretty thriving d.i.y./anarcho punk community. What started with the Baltimore Anarchist Collective and its splinter The Crasshole Collective, by the end of the decade there were a dozen anacho collectives, zines, distros, labels and bands all spreading Anarchist ideas from Crofton, Columbia, and Hagerstown, to Bel Air, Frederick, and College Park. Some of the bands I was in included Coexist, Attica 9, 13th Gen, A-Political who later with different line up became A//Political, Da Nuffinks, Programme, and more. Other bands included Objection To Oppression, Ochlochracy, 2 a.m. Revolution, Subsist, Flag Fallen, Sub-Class, The Chaotix, The Agenda, No Kerisma, and so many more.
On this page I will post photos, downloadable music files of demos/recordings, zines, and leaflets folks passed out. Please send me scans of old zines, or mp3 files of old demos if you don't see them on here! Also photos!
Baltimore has changed alot in the past decade but I hope folks who are active today, remember all the kids who made an effort to carve a place of our own out of that desolate hellhole.
